How long has Global Schools Foundation been offering scholarships?
Global Schools Foundation has always believed in supporting and encouraging talent among students. Subsidised education has been  in place since the inception of the Foundation. Over the years, GSF expanded the subsidies into scholarships for higher grade students. The first batch of alumni to get Global Citizens Scholarships was in 2008.

How many scholarships are offered? 
GSF offers different scholarships for different grades and curricula. We have six categories of scholarships for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. The scholarships range from 10% to 100% of annual fee.

How many scholarships will be given in 2018?
The number of scholarships will be decided by the Committee of Scholarship programme.

 How much is the total scholarship amount?

The scholarship amount ranges from S$2,000 to S$90,000* per student, based on the category.

What is the selection procedure? 

The selection procedure involves three steps:

1. Application Procedure: Online applications for the scholarships begin in the month of January. 
2. Written Test: Students are required to take a written test in English, Math and Science after their annual examinations. The test happens around end of March. Results will be out by the beginning of April.
3. Interviews: Students who pass the written examination will be called for interviews, which will be conducted face-to-face or online by the end of April. Only successful candidates will be notified.  

How will successful candidates be notified?
Successful candidates will either be notified through sms or email.  Applicants are requested to mention the correct email ID and mobile phone number in the scholarship application form.
